Witness Kate Kruller’s Swearing-In Ceremony for Tukwila City Council 7 p.m. next Tuesday January 3, 2012 – at Tukwila City Hall.

Dear Faithful Friends:
This is the moment that all candidates for election look forward to in a political race! This past November, I was fortunate enough to win the favor of Tukwila City citizens as they cast their ballots to elect their next Tukwila City Councilmember in Position 6. On January 3, 2012, the Tukwila City Council meeting will be called to order at 7:00 p.m. – and the only business of the night is to swear-in two incumbent councilmembers, myself as a newly elected Councilmember – and then the 2012 Tukwila City Council will elect their Council President.
Note: Apparently, there will be a brief break for photos and coffee after the swearing-in ceremony portion of the session. During that time all councilmembers will arrange themselves on the dias by seniority while I sign the Oath of Office documents and then I will join them there as the most recently elected councilmember.
Please be sure to arrive early enough to get a seat in the Council Chambers gallery. This will be a very short meeting night compared to typical City Council meetings. It is expected to take 30-40 minutes or less.
You are among what I consider the faithful crowd that played a significant role in helping to make this all happen – and I want to make sure you are invited to and feel welcome at this event.

Heading North on I-5
Take Exit 153 – Southcenter Parkway North. Turn left at light at end of off ramp onto Southcenter Pkwy. Stay in left lane and turn left at the next stop light (which is an overpass street). You will cross over I-405 and then turn right at light onto Southcenter Boulevard. Immediately move to the left lane and take first left at 62nd Ave. South. City Hall is on your right at 6200 Southcenter Blvd. If going to the 6300 Building, take the next left past 62nd Ave. So.
Heading South On I-5
Take Exit 154B – Southcenter Blvd. Turn left onto Southcenter Blvd. Travel approximately 1 mile (past the Denny’s Restaurant) and take left at 62nd Ave. South. The entrance to City Hall is on the right at 6200 Southcenter Blvd. If going to the 6300 Building, take the next left past 62nd Ave. So.
Heading East on I-405
Take the Southcenter Mall Exit. Move to the left lane and take left at 62nd Ave. South. The entrance to City Hall is on the right at 6200 Southcenter Blvd.; If going to the 6300 Building, take the next left past 62nd Ave. So.
Heading West On I-405
Take Southcenter Blvd Exit. Go east on Southcenter Blvd and take first left at 62nd Ave. The entrance to City Hall is on the right at 6200 Southcenter Blvd. If going to the 6300 Building, take the next left past 62nd Ave. So.
Heading East On SR-518
Exit off of 518 to Interstate I-405. Follow to Exit #1. Turn left onto Interurban Avenue South and then left onto Southcenter Blvd at light. You will come to the 6300 Building first; turn right. Proceed to 62nd Ave. So. and turn right for the 6200 Building. The entrance to City Hall is on the right at 6200 Southcenter Blvd.
