Calling all King County residing democrats,
Do you know what goes on behind the scenes in the elections office? Or do you think it’s magic that all the ballots, including yours, gets counted after you return it? Want to know more? Here is your opportunity to volunteer to be the King County Democratic Party’s official representative at the elections office before and after “election day” observing how the County receives and processes each ballot from King County voters. You will have access to the processing areas that’s available to only official, trained representatives.
If you need to go through Observer training, King County Elections has currently scheduled two opportunities:
Session 1 on Saturday, July 20th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, or you can attend:
Session 2 on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Both sessions will be at:
King County Elections
919 SW Grady Way
Renton, Washington 98057-2906
We can certainly use trained observers and would love to have you take a shift or two during the primary election. The official “election day” is August 6. There are opportunities to observe before, during and after the election day. Please note, if you have volunteered as an Observer in the 2012 General Election or at any time thus far in 2013, you need not go through training to Observe in this 2013 Primary Election
If you are interested in receiving further information on volunteering to observe in this primary election, or plan to attend one of the two training sessions at King County Elections, please e-mail the King County Democratic Central Committee Chair of Elections & Logistics, Mr. Renggli at Chumst321@Yahoo.com. Our Observing will begin on Monday, July 22nd 2013
Thank you for all your help in the past. We hope you will consider helping again. Please feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone you anticipate being interested in being a Observer for this Primary Election.
Sincerely,
Noel Renggli
