Congressman Jim McDermott To Join 7th Annual AM1090 Forum
AM1090 SEATTLE ADDS TO ALL STAR LINE UP: JIM MCDERMOTT, RON REAGAN,
THOM HARTMANN, RANDI RHODES & MORE TOGETHER ON ONE STAGE TO DISCUSS
THE MAJOR POLITICAL AND PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES FACING OUR COUNTRY TODAY
The 7th Annual AM1090 Forum once again comes to the Kent ShoWare Center on Saturday July 21, 2012
at 6pm.
The Annual Forum brings the biggest nationally syndicated progressive talk radio hosts together on one
stage to discuss the major political and public policy issues facing our country and what we as citizens
must do to put our nation on a path toward progress and prosperity.
The topic of discussion for the 2012 Forum is “Showdown 2012: Recapturing Democracy”. Questions
from the audience will guide the discussion, moderated by former Seattle Times Chief Political Reporter
David Postman.
With unlimited corporate campaign spending taking center-stage in the 2012 elections, individuals and
grassroots organizations face an unprecedented uphill battle to make our voices heard amongst the
“Super PACs” and un-ending corporate money. Our panel will layout the strategies we must follow,
starting in our own communities, to our role in our democracy and build a better future for us all.
This year’s lineup featuring Thom Hartmann, Randi Rhodes, Norman Goldman, Mike Papantonio, Sam
Seder and Ron Reagan. With a special keynote address by Congressman Jim McDermott
